On next February 8th, the BENELUX Business Council invites its members to discover Luxembourg and Luxembourgish gastronomy at the Expo.
At 7pm guided tours (optional) of the Luxembourg Pavillon will give you an insight into the Grand Duchy. Don’t miss a chance to try the slide on your way down!
From 7.30pm onwards, we will be greeted in the Schengen Lounge by HE Robert Lauer, Ambassador of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in the UAE.
During our reception Chef Kim Kevin de Dood will introduce you to Luxembourg gastronomy and, with the kind support of the Luxembourg Pavillon, to Luxembourg wines. Pass around canapés will be served.
Seats are limited for this exceptional event, please make sure to register! The entrance fee for this event is set at AED 170 / pers for Benelux Members - 200 / pers for non-members - but the first 20 members of our Council (with a valid 2022 membership) to enroll will attend for free! courtesy of the Benelux Business Council. Entrance ticket to the Expo to be bought separately.
The Schengen Lounge at the Luxembourg Pavilion serves fusion cuisine from the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, influenced by flavours from all around the world. The Schengen Lounge showcases Luxembourg’s excellence in this field of gastronomy while reflecting the country’s diversity.
Kim Kevin de Dood, the main Executive chef of Saint-Pierre Restaurant in Singapore, is managing the Schengen Lounge with the support of the Jumeirah Group. To support the first-class service, 31 students from École d’Hôtellerie et de Tourisme du Luxembourg – EHTL are a part of Chef Kim Kevin de Dood’s team.
