Join the Benelux Business Council at the event "AmCham Abu Dhabi's Legal Affairs Committee Present the Legal System of the UAE", on Tuesday 30 June.

The Legal Affairs Committee will present an "open microphone" webinar to discuss the legal system of the UAE - Confronting the new challenges to the development of the rule of law.

The Covid-19 crisis has challenged legal systems around the world, causing them to adopt new ways of continuing operations.

Agenda:

  • Presentation by Nasser Al Osaiba of Global Advocates and Legal Counsel on how the UAE is handling the challenges that have arisen.
  • Guest panelist, Avv. Andrea Nicolo Stanchi, will describe the experience of the legal system of Italy. Avv. Stanchi is a leading figure in the legal profession in Italy and a regular university lecturer in law
  • For the third part of the webinar, participants are invited to an "open microphone" session in which they may describe their personal experiences with the legal system and present their observations on what is being done right and what could be improved.
